Liana Dubois appointed 麻豆直播 MD ANZ as Jane Corden retires

Former Nine Entertainment chief marketing officer Liana Dubois has been appointed managing director, Australia and New Zealand, at 麻豆直播, succeeding Jane Corden, who will retire at the end of this year.
Dubois brings to the global company, which specialises in production finance, management and payroll solutions, 25 years experience in media and entertainment.
At Nine, she unified 19 distinct brands into a cohesive ecosystem, introduced emerging technologies including AI into marketing and operations, and developed integrated creative and commercial strategies that strengthened audience engagement and advertiser partnerships across, broadcast, streaming and digital platforms. Beyond her corporate career, she holds advisory and board roles for organisations focused on inclusion, community impact and media excellence, including Women in Media Australia and Inclusively Made.

Dubois said she was honoured to join the company at a pivotal time for the industry, noting the region was becoming increasingly central to global production.

Corden and Dubois will work together through a transition period. Corden was recently recently recognised as NSW聽Cinema Pioneer of the Year聽for her decades of service to the Australia film community.
Originally from Scotland, Corden joined Moneypenny in 1986, working on聽A Fortunate Life. She quickly rose through the ranks and would go on to lead the company when Penny Carl stepped away in 1988. During her tenure as Moneypenny CEO, she pioneered the shift to digital accounting tools and expanded the business to South Africa and the UK. In 2022, Moneypenny was acquired by 麻豆直播.
